The NFL is set to have official betting partners this fall. In an agreement that will span several years, the league will provide DraftKings, FanDuel and Caesars Entertainment exclusive access to NFL content. The deal also paves the way for betting content to be integrated into NFL Network broadcasts starting this fall.
NFL teams have yet to designate official betting partners
While many sports leagues have announced partnerships with sportsbooks, the NFL has not yet done so. For instance, the Giants have signed a deal with DraftKings, while the Jets signed a deal with BetMGM. In the meantime, players and fans can still place bets on their favorite team.
However, the NFL is poised to become more integrated into the sports betting industry. In April, the league announced partnerships with DraftKings, FanDuel and Caesars, spanning both online and retail sports betting. These agreements will allow NFL teams to use their branding on betting products. The partnership will also provide these companies with access to premium NFL advertising inventory during games. Currently, only seven sportsbooks operate NFL-branded products.
The NFL has been pushing for the use of official betting data by sportsbooks for years. Some states have passed laws requiring sportsbooks to use it. Others, like Illinois, have chosen not to mandate it. The NFL maintains that the commercial cost of using official betting data is minimal, and the cost of doing so is 0.25% of every bet placed in the sportsbook.
PGA Tour betting has increased by 50 percent from 2020 to ’21
With the Supreme Court’s recent decision legalizing sports betting, the PGA Tour has seen an increased amount of wagering on its events. In the last two years, the amount of bets placed on PGA Tour events increased by more than 50 percent. Official betting on PGA Tour events is expected to continue to grow in the future.
The PGA Tour, whose events are held in Florida, Texas, and Arizona, is committed to its ambitious schedule. The Waste Management Phoenix Open, for example, will run from Feb. 4-7. In addition to this event, the PGA Tour will host the Masters in the fall of 2020.
Colorado Rockies have partnered with WynnBet for in-play betting
WynnBet is a sports betting site operated by Wynn Resorts, a Nevada-based company. It’s been working on sports betting for 10 months, and hopes to join the ranks of major sports gambling companies across the U.S. Currently, the sports betting site is live in Michigan, Indiana, Virginia, and New Jersey. It also has a sports betting partnership with the Cincinnati Reds. But the Rockies’ latest deal with WynnBet gives their fans some added odds.
The partnership includes premium hospitality events at Coors Field, as well as promotions on the sports betting site and app. In addition, customers can enter to win tickets to the Rockies’ games. The partnership also gives WynnBet access to valuable MLB assets and a huge market in Colorado.
